So happy you decided to stop by! I’m Kelsey, a small town girl who followed a boy and wound up in the city. I’ve always been somewhat of a creator. I like being creative, making things pretty, sharing my heart, and designing things of my own — hence the start of my blog.

A couple of months ago I read a post shared on Facebook titled “How to Love the Life You Have Even If It’s Not the Life You Wanted.” I highly recommend you give it a read, it can be found here. So many times I have found myself saying, “there’s got to be more to life than this.” Work becomes a chore and life gets routine. You live for the weekends and get a bad case of the “Sunday scaries” once Sunday evening rolls around.

Though my life has not always turned out the way I thought it would… failed attempts at a career leading to school again, living in a city hours away from family and friends, and broken dreams of what could have been, I realized that day that I have a choice. I have the choice to turn my eyes to the Giver of joy resting in His promise that my life, no matter how uneventful or messy or routine, is a life worth loving.
